This image is of an Female Owl that I have followed for over 3 years to the date of this post. She was attacked by a murder of crows and her left eye suffered from trauma and has turned it black. She luckily survived, but the offspring and the male were killed. She has since re mated and I have watched her raise three more generation of Great Horned Owls.
